KAPOW® · PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy matters.

How KAPOW® collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit, shop or get in touch.
Last updated: 7 January 2026

01 / About this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how KAPOW® (the “Site”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit kapowfitness.com, use our services, make a purchase or communicate with us (together, the “Services”). It applies whether you are a customer, visitor or another person whose information we collect.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or operational, legal or regulatory requirements. We will post the revised policy, update the date and take any other steps required by law.

02 / Information we collect

We collect personal information from different sources depending on how you interact with us. Personal information means information that identifies, relates to, describes or can be linked to you. The categories below also describe information collected during the preceding 12 months.

Information you provide

  • Contact details: your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • Order information: your name, billing and shipping addresses, payment confirmation, email address and telephone number.
  • Account information: your username, password and security questions.
  • Customer support: information you choose to include when communicating with us.

Some information is necessary to provide the Services. If you choose not to provide it, certain features may be unavailable.

Information collected automatically

We collect usage data through cookies, pixels and similar technologies. This may include device and browser information, network connection details, your IP address and information about your interactions with the Services.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from vendors and service providers, including Shopify, which supports our store. Payment processors collect payment details, such as bank account or card information and billing addresses, to process payments and fulfil orders.

When you visit our Site, open or click our emails or interact with our advertisements, we or third parties we work with may automatically collect information through pixels, web beacons, software development kits, third-party libraries and cookies. Information obtained from third parties is handled in accordance with this policy.

03 / How we use your information

Providing products and services

We use information to process payments, fulfil orders, send account and transaction notifications, manage purchases, returns and exchanges, maintain accounts, arrange shipping and provide the Services. Shopify may match your account with other Shopify services; see Shopify’s Privacy Policy for details.

Marketing and advertising

We may use information to send marketing by email, text message or post, display advertisements on our Site or elsewhere, and personalise the Services and advertising. For EEA residents, the stated legal basis is our legitimate interest in promoting our products under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, subject to applicable consent requirements.

Security and fraud prevention

We use information to detect, investigate and act against potential fraud, illegal activity or misuse. If you create an account, keep your credentials safe and do not share them. Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. For EEA residents, this processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the Services safe under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Support and service improvement

We use information to communicate with you, provide customer support and improve the Services. For EEA residents, this is based on our legitimate interest in responding to you and maintaining our business relationship under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We also use IP addresses to maintain functionality, prevent abuse, support security and optimise the Site, based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

04 / Cookies & privacy signals

We use cookies to operate and improve the Site, remember your actions and preferences, and perform analytics. We may allow service providers and third parties to use cookies to tailor services, products and advertising. For cookies used in connection with Shopify, see Shopify’s Cookie Policy.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect functionality and some Services may not work correctly. Blocking cookies may not fully prevent information sharing with advertising partners.

We recognise the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where applicable, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising for the browser or device used. If we can associate the signal with a Shopify account, we may apply it to that account as well. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org. We do not respond to other “Do Not Track” signals.

05 / How we share information

We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • With vendors and service providers working on our behalf, including IT, payment processing, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfilment and shipping providers.
  • With business and marketing partners to provide services and advertising. These partners handle information under their own privacy policies.
  • When you instruct us, request a disclosure or consent—for example, for delivery, social media widgets or login integrations.
  • With affiliates or within our corporate group, in our legitimate interest in operating the business.
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, or protect the Services, our rights and the rights of others.

During the preceding 12 months, disclosed categories may include identifiers, personal information listed under California customer records law, commercial information, internet or network activity, and geolocation inferred from an IP address or other technical information. Recipients include service providers, business and marketing partners, and affiliates.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you without your consent. For marketing and advertising, we may “sell” or “share” identifiers, commercial information and usage information with marketing or business partners, as those terms are defined by applicable privacy law.

06 / Third-party websites

The Services may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties. Please review their privacy and security policies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, security or the accuracy of their information.

Information shared in public or semi-public places, including third-party social networking platforms, may be visible to other users without restriction. A link does not imply our endorsement unless expressly stated.

07 / Children’s information

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information to us, contact us to request deletion.

As of this policy’s effective date, we have no actual knowledge that we sell or share personal information of individuals under 16.

08 / Security & retention

No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee perfect security. Information sent to us may be insecure during transmission. Please avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured channels.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, including maintaining your account, providing the Services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements and policies.

09 / Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have some or all of the following rights. These rights are not absolute, and requests may be declined where permitted by law.

  • Access: request access to your information and details of how it is used and shared.
  • Deletion: request deletion of personal information.
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Portability: receive a copy and request transfer to another party in certain circumstances, subject to exceptions.
  • Opt out: opt out of sale, sharing or processing for targeted advertising, where applicable, including through GPC.
  • Restrict processing: ask us to stop or limit processing.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
  • Appeal: appeal a decision not to act on your request by replying to our response.

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link. We may still send non-promotional emails about your account or orders.

Exercise your rights through the Site where available or contact us below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity, for example through your email address or account details. An authorised agent may act on your behalf, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity verification. We will respond within the period required by law.

10 / Complaints

If you have concerns about our handling of personal information, please contact us. Depending on your location, you may appeal our decision or complain to your local data protection authority. A list of EEA supervisory authorities is available from the European Data Protection Board.

11 / International transfers

We may transfer, store and process information outside your country, including through staff, service providers and partners in other countries.

When transferring personal information outside Europe, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK arrangements, unless the destination has been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.
